Hailing from Philadelphia, PA, Michael is a seasoned, veteran musician who has played drums for many diverse bands from the tri-state area. He is most notably associated with his contributions as drummer of the premier band, The A’s. This time period was well-spent in gaining a wealth of experience performing on tour and in the recording studio.

He has shared the stage with a wide range of artists including: The Kinks, U2, Robert Palmer, The Talking Heads, The Ramones, Earl Slick, Kasim Sulton, and has lived to tell the tale of opening up for Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow at the Beacon Theater in NYC.

After the demise of the A’s, Michael followed his muse to study Music Composition and Theory at Philadelphia’s University of the Arts. He continues to hone his skills on piano and guitar, and while these are his favorite instruments, he is most comfortable behind the drum kit.

Currently, Michael is busy as a music teacher in the Philadelphia school system where he is delighted to share his experience and ongoing appreciation for all things related to music and beyond.

He has also found a home as the drummer in the band, Full Grown Men who perform throughout New Jersey and PA.
